Marketing Specialist Job Description
901 Fund is hiring a Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role will be primarily focused on supporting NIL initiatives for U of M student-athletes. You will also be required to learn new skills that will help with marketing campaigns for other clients.
Responsibilities for Marketing Specialist
- Develop, implement, and track marketing programs such as email, social media, or digital campaigns, and events 
 - Contribute to and track fundraising efforts  
 - Identify and engage partner charity targets 
 - Guide partner charities in the planning process 
 - Manage the creation and distribution of NIL deals in the Opendorse portal 
 - Oversee completion of NIL activities and approve them in Opendorse portal 
 - Facilitate student-athletes understanding and engaging in NIL opportunities 
 - Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums 
 - Work with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing programs 
 - Complete skill development courses and be able to translate those skills in practice (email marketing, Ad Word campaigns, social tools, etc.) 
 
Qualifications for Marketing Specialist
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field 
 - Strong written and verbal communication skills 
 - Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills 
 - Outgoing, friendly personality 
 - Excellent critical and creative thinking skills 
 - Skilled in writing and editing content with attention to detail 
 - Ability to travel as necessary 
 - Availability for occasional events on nights and weekends
