901 Fund & Memphis Inner City Rugby Partnership

901 Fund partners with Memphis Inner City Rugby to promote their 10th Anniversary Celebration at Graceland on October 20th, 2022.  MICR leverages the power of rugby to close the opportunity gap, create relentlessly supportive communities, and drive upward mobility for under-resourced youth across our city.  In their 2020 impact summary report, 48 people accessed college through rugby and 98% of participants reported that MICR empowers academic performance. We collaborated on how to promote the event and decided on using a section of MICR's video, The Power of Rugby, sending it to student-athletes to post to explain their mission and how impactful they are. Coach David Diehl, 2-time super bowl champion as a New York Giants left tackle, he is currently an Offensive Analyst for the Memphis Football team, he donated his time to make a video explaining MICR and their mission to increase ticket sales to the 10th Anniversary Celebration.
